The tour offers magnificent views for the mountains and the Grand Canyon. The geological processes which formed the canyon over many millennia are almost beyond comprehension. There are two treks at Jabal shams for adventure seekers:
W4: It is basically a 12 hrs full day round trip walk that leads to the top of Jabal shams mountains.
W6: It is basically a 5 hrs round trip walk which leads to the bottom of the canyon. It is also called balcony walk.
The path goes along the cliffs, overlooking a precipitous canyon. Most of the time the path has a sloping drop-off on one side; below this steep slope, the cliff drops off dramatically into a deep & perpendicular chasm
